This winery is truly one-of-a-kind, and the experience feels like stepping into a living masterpiece. The owner, an accomplished artist, has infused his creativity throughout the entire property, and it shows in every detail. His paintings are showcased around the wine tasting area, creating an atmosphere that’s both inspiring and welcoming.
During our tasting, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner. His passion for both art and wine shines through as he explained the unique characteristics of some of the selections.
The winery offers a tasting of seven exceptional wines, each with its distinct personality. My favorites were the Barbera and Grenache, which stood out for their depth and complexity.
Overall, this winery offers more than just a wine tasting experience—it’s an immersion into an artist’s world, where every sip and every stroke of paint tells a story. A truly memorable visit.
I really liked this winery. We had a very personal experience with the owner explaining his wines and sharing his passion for his winery. His beautiful artwork is on display to enjoy while you sample his wines.

My wife, Sarah, and I visited Sol y Barro on Saturday, June 2024, and it was truly a one-of-a-kind experience in Valle de Guadalupe.
The winery itself is small and charming, built with natural materials that blend beautifully into the landscape. The wines were exceptional, each one telling a story of craftsmanship and passion.
What made our visit even more special was Aime, the owner, who personally guided us through the tasting. His knowledge and passion for winemaking were evident in every explanation, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. His warm hospitality made us feel like welcomed guests rather than just visitors.
